The Farmers Bank Hires Steve Walter as Senior Vice President of Retail Banking

The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce that Steve Walter joined the bank October 30, 2017 as Senior Vice President of Retail Banking. 

Steve comes to us with 17 years of experience in banking with PNC Bank, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  During his tenure at PNC Bank, he held various positions including:  Branch Manager of Churubusco, Indiana, District Sales Executive, and most recently as Regional Manager of most of the Community Branches in Northern Indiana. 

Steve graduated from St. Wendelin Catholic School in Fostoria, Ohio and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio.  In May 2014, Steve earned a Masters of Business Administration Degree from The Ohio State University:  Columbus, Ohio.

Steve and his wife Karen recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, and are in the process of making Frankfort their home.  In his spare time Steve enjoys travel with his wife, playing the “favorite Uncle” to his 7 nieces and nephew, Theatre, Museums, Preservation of Historic Homes, reading & catching his teams on the BIG 10 network.
