How do you access Telephone Banking?
To access information about your personal accounts you must obtain a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Please visit or call your Farmers Bank office to request your PIN. Once you have your PIN, you are ready to start using Telephone Banking.
ATM/Check Card
The ATM card that works like a check. Enjoy the convenience of credit card shopping without interest charges or annual fees with your ATM/Check Card! Just present your card and the transaction will be automatically deducted from your checking account and conveniently detailed on your monthly checking account statement. Visit your Farmers Bank office for an ATM/Check Card application today.
Attention Debit Card Customers:
New EMV Chip-Bearing Debit Cards Coming Soon
The Farmers Bank debit card customers who do not already have EMV chip-bearing debit cards will receive replacement cards within the next 12 months. Beginning July 1, 2016, new debit card customers will receive EMV chip-bearing debit cards with existing cardholders receiving them during the next 12 months in the month (not the year) their current card expires.
As a security measure, your current non-chip debit card will no longer be active once you activate your new EMV chip-bearing debit card.
Important Information about Your New EMV Chip-Bearing Debit Card
Improved Security:
Your new EMV chip-bearing card includes the latest chip technology which provides an added layer of security, providing greater protection against fraud.
World-Wide Acceptance:
Your new EMV chip-bearing debit card will also make traveling easier and more convenient with its world-wide acceptance. Your debit card continues to have the traditional magnetic stripe on back, enabling you to use it at all merchants without chip-enabled terminals.
How It Works:
- Businesses may ask you to insert your debit card into the terminal or they may ask you to swipe the magnetic stripe.
- If you’re asked to insert the debit card, look for a slot on the bottom-front of the terminal and insert your debit card face up with the chip first.
- Leave your debit card in the terminal until the transaction is complete.
- The terminal will prompt you to sign or enter a PIN to validate your identity.
- Take your debit card when prompted and don’t leave it behind.
The expiration date and three digit security code on the back of your new EMV chip-bearing debit card has changed, so please remember to update merchants (e.g., automatic bill pay, online wallets or merchant websites).
